It's All About The Tools is a popular webcast series I'm doing with Microsoft Developer Evangelist Russ Fustino. We're highlighting our favorite, and most useful developer tools with demos and links - with a focus on using Visual Studio. You'll find slide decks here from live sessions, WebCasts and special events we've done. Check it out!
The Smart Client Software Factory (SCSF) and Web Service Software Factory (WSSF) are powerful and extensible application-generation frameworks that can help you and your organization become more efficient at building enterprise-class service applications.
The webcast slide decks are updated for SCSF v2 (May07), WSSF Modeling Edition (Nov07) and the PnPGuidance decks were prepared for the PnPGuidance.net roadshow (2007) that David Hayden and myself are doing in Florida. The CodeCamp slide decks will likely be the most up-to-date version of the P&P slide decks available (the three sets are similar, with incremental updates as new versions of the software factories are released).
These are overview decks - the most value lies in the Resources and Learn More slides at the end, which have links for downloading and learning more about SCSF, WSSF, the Guidance Automation Toolkit, and the communities around these excellent tools.
The VB 2005 New Features slide deck is a presentation I've given a number of times, and it mirrors the article I wrote in MSDN online.
